What are laminated tubes?

Types of laminated tube protection
Laminated tubes come with excellent parameters of production and design. The first few layers are made of polyethylene, a layer of copolymer, an aluminum barrier, another copolymer layer and finally another layer of polyethylene. Some tubes made from aluminum foil have an ABL barrier or a PBL barrier.
An ABL barrier protects the laminated tubes by acting as a barrier against leakage of volatile substances from the tube and also acts against oxidization of the contents in the tube formed from the aluminumfoil. Aluminum foil is also the carrier of laminated layers of plastic material. This barrier provides an advantage over plastic tubes as they do not possess such a feature.
A PBL barrier provides protection by stopping volatile substances from leaking out of the tube contents and also acts as a barrier against oxidization of the tube content. These tubes also contain shape memory and forms back to the original shape after it has been squeezed. These tubes can also be manufactured as fully recyclable and transparent.
